The Wohl Center at 1515 N.
Kingshighway is the closest overnight warming shelter. You may contact them directly at
314-367-8964. Individuals that do not have transportation and are 60 years or
older or disabled can call 1-800-427-4626 for a free ride.
The following plan is weather dependent:
Limb
Collection
City-wide Limb
Collection - estimated to be completed by Sat., 12/16
Limbs can be
brought to Heman Park until Sun., December 31, 2006 (bring proof of
residency, must be available upon request)
Yardwaste
Monday, 12/18,
yardwaste and small limb must be prepared to city requirements for collection
No Yard waste
stickers are required for December:

Brush and tree limbs must be no larger than 3
inches thick in diameter

Brush and tree limbs must be tied securely with
twine in bundles
-
Bundles can be no longer than 4 feet and no wider
than 2 feet in diameter

A limit of six bundles will be collected from a
single household per week
Holiday Tree Recycling
Holiday tree
collection begins week of 1/2/07
Holiday tree
should be placed at curb for collection by am on Jan 2.
Holiday trees can
also be brought to Heman Park for recycling.
