Mr. Adams seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />I~TWCHEAR]/~G - 1989-90 TAX RATE <br /> <br />The City Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. to consider <br />cu~ents on the proposed 1989-90 property tax rates for the Library, General <br />Fund, Debt P~t/rement, and Uniformed E~ployees Pension Fund. Rates must take <br />into account the recently~let~ property reassessment by St. Louis County. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 8:00 p.m. No members of the public <br />asked to speak, ~ the bm~ing was closed at 8:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff noted that if Council approves the tax rate bill on the City <br />Clerk's Docket, the tax rate will be reduced frc~ $1.05 to $0.96, which is due <br />to an increase in the city's assessed valuation. <br /> <br />1990 c£'1~ C(YJNCIL ~i.iNG SCF~3IE <br /> <br />The City Manager asked that Council approve adding the 1990 city Council meet- <br />ing schedule to the agenda.
