Mr. schoomer <br />secor~led the motion. Mr. ;u~ms said he will vote for this bill but wished to <br />prc~c~st the State Le~islabire's refusal to allow a growth factor to University <br />City. Mayor Majerus said that St. L~uis City and County were the only two <br />areas in the state that were not allowed a 2-1/2% y~arly increase in property <br />tax revenue after reassessment, which meant that University City anJ othez.~ <br />were constantly losing ~ound. Upon roll call, the following vote was record- <br />ed: AYES: Cctinci~ ;~ms, Wagner, Schun~n, Schoc~er, Thompson, Price, <br />and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. Bill No. 7925 became ordinance No. 5718. <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Davis, Box 101, Herrick, IL, said he was ~upposed to get a federal <br />emergency housing gl-ant, but it was not forthccming, and he wished to <br />why.
