<br />Mr. Ollendorff said the three low bids were for pick up at plants in either
<br />northwest or south St. Louis County; besides having City vehicles out of ser-
<br />vice for this long drive, the hot asphaltic concrete would cool too much to be
<br />usable on return. Therefore, he rec~tut~_nded aoceptance of the bid fr~, Fred
<br />Weber, Inc. (Kingshighway plant) in the amount of $19,750.

<br />Mr. Adams moved approv-dl. Mrs. Schuman seconded the motion, which carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />
<br />The city Manager said invitations to bid on fur~hing asphaltic products for
<br />fiscal 1989-90 were sent to 12 area suppliers, with the foll~ing response:
