Because we opened the public hearings and continued all of
the associated items to the Feb. 26 agenda, we will need to once again make a
th
motion to forward the items to the March 19 agenda. The City Clerk has
outlined the issue in your agenda packet. Due to the large amount of public
interest in the project, I want to provide as much clarity as possible. The memo
provided to Mr. Walker is included with this packet unfortunately, it does not
provide any details as to why the delay has been requested.

th
The February 26 Study Session agenda is attached. The Booster Club has made a request for funding to provide paid
summer coaches to provide training for school aged athletes. The letter from the
booster club is included. Council may want to discuss if you wish to incorporate
a grant process into your budget cycle for items outside of the traditional City
services.

MetroLink
has a trial on March 5, 2007, in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
