Session 1824 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />November 5, 2001 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, November 5, 2001, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Mr. Lieberman and Mr. Sharpe who were attending the Governor's <br />Conference on Aging. Aisc present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the October 20, 2001 study session minutes with a few <br />word changes that he gave earlier to the City Clerk. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the October 22, 2001 regular session. Ms. Colquitt <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to Janet Wilding - IDA. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked Ms. Wilding for her willingness to serve on this body. Work of <br />the citizens on boards and commissions really and truly help the City work. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - 1200 BLOCK OF <br />PURDUE: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams read a resolution which sets up a neighborhood improvement district on <br />the 1200 block of Purdue. The nature of the improvement is the removal of a steel <br />street barricade at the intersection of Purdue and Wellington Avenues in the City, and <br />the construction of a concrete island barricade and planter in its place. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br /> <br />
