The first was last night, focusing on the past Mayors of University City, it <br />was a historical perspective based on the previous Mayoral tenures. The <br />second program will be the premiere of the CALOP funded film by Steve <br />Behrends focusing on the City’s Centennial year. The program is scheduled for <br />7:00 PM on Thursday, April 26 at the U-City Library. The third in the series will <br />be on the Sutter-Meyer house, Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00 PM. The <br />archaeologists responsible for the dig will review video footage and share <br />artifacts they have recovered from the site. <br /> <br />UCityUnited, a citizen group is collaborating with the City to provide a series of <br />University <br />three seminars about University City. The first seminar will cover <br />City’s history and government <br />onMonday, April 9 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM at <br />Nathaniel Hawthorne Elementary School, 1351 N. Hanley Road. There will be <br />nine speakers with varied backgrounds. The second seminar will provide an <br /> University City Finances <br />overviewof on Sunday, April 22 from 2:00 PM. - 4:00 <br />PM at the Bais Abraham Synagogue, 6910 Delmar Boulevard. Janet Watson, <br />University City Deputy City Manager and Director of Finance, and Tim Lee, <br />Assistant Collector, St. Louis County will be the primary presenters. The third <br />Economic Development <br />seminar will be a review of in University City on <br />Saturday, May 12 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crown Center, 8350 Delcrest <br />Drive. Lehman Walker, University City Director of Community Development, and <br />Richard Ward, Senior Principal/Chairman of Development Strategies will be the <br />primary presenters.
