BILL 8932 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 THEREOF, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, THEREBY AMENDING SAID MAP SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTIES AT 8635, 8639 (PORTIONS OF), 8645 (PORTIONS OF), 8651, 8655, 8660, 8661, 8665, 8666, 8671, 8672 BARBY LANE AND 8655, 8660 8664, 8665, 8669, 8673 WEST KINGSBURY FROM "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO "HRO" - HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT; EXCEPTING THAT THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTIES KNOWN AS THE NORTH 67 FEET OF THE LOT AT 8639 BARBY LANE AND THE EAST 30 FEET AND NORTH 67 FEET OF THE LOT AT 8645 BARBY LANE SHALL BE FROM "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO "GC" - GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. 2. BILL 8933 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF LAND TO BE KNOWN AS “900 AND 910 NORTH MCKNIGHT CONDOMINIUMS” AND LOCATED AT 900 AND 910 MCKNIGHT. 3. BILL 8934 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF LAND TO BE KNOWN AS “WESTVIEW DRIVE MANOR BEING A RESUBDIVISION OF ALL OF LOT 7 AND THE SOUTH 50' OF LOT 6 IN BLOCK 5 OF UNIVERSITY VIEW” AND LOCATED AT 519 AND 527 WESTVIEW DRIVE. CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS COUNCIL COMMENTS Ms. Brot spoke of the Infill Review Board’s first meeting where the citizens were able to address their concerns with the developer. She stated that the ordinance needed some modification but was pleased with its success. Ms. Brot also asked the City Manager to see if the drawings the Council receives can be reduced in size. She also encouraged everyone to write their State legislators concerning their bills that will negatively affect the City. Ms. Brot also asked that Council’s existing rule concerning nominations to commissions be followed that allows each councilmember two months to make the assigned appointment to a board or commission. If not completed within two months, the next member of the Council would get this assignment. Mr. Price announced the flyer for Community Partnership for Safety is being distributed and asked the City Manager to have it distributed to PTOs, elementary schools, and to Ms. Rachel Watson, University City High School’s Council liaison, so representation of youth will be in attendance. 3
