April 16, 2007 <br />Watson to bring back student comments on activities in which they would like to have <br />available. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot talked about the Arts & Letters photo show success and the sculpture series <br />locations around the City. She said the Arts and Letters will not be able to present as <br />many concerts this summer due to budget constraints and encouraged any free-will- <br />donations. Ms. Brot also encouraged everyone to write Congress on the minimum wage <br />bill and how it negatively affects Cities with police and fire protection. Ms. Brot <br />encouraged Council to present a report on their travel learning’s, so all might learn from <br />fellow Council’s conference learning’s. Ms. Brot invited all to the Spring Festival on May <br />6 at the Green Center. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked the Parks’ Department to develop more local us of University City’s <br />fields for baseball. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr., asked if the City could assist in helping students find summer Jobs. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br />3 <br /> <br />
