<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007 - 2 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – Comprehensive Plan Update <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The City of University City's Comprehensive Plan is updated every five years. The <br />plan's primary purpose is to guide land use, community and economic development. City <br />Council has requested revisions to the Plan and referred back to the Plan Commission for <br />consideration. The Plan Commission has voted and approved three amendments to the <br />Comprehensive Plan; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> an additional policy statement to the Economic Development section of <br />the plan indicating that the city will establish the physical and economic redevelopment of <br />Olive Blvd. as its highest priority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />an additional policy statement that the city will give priority to <br />businesses that create jobs that capitalizes on the diversity of talent of the residents of <br /> <br />University City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the redevelopment of Area 18, which identifies potential redevelopment <br />opportunities in the southwestern portion of University City.
