RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A COUNCILMEMBER SERVE AS MAYOR <br />PRO TEMPORE UNTIL APRIL 2004. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of University City (Charter) <br />provides that the City Council shall choose one of its members as mayor pro tempore, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor is absent from time to time or otherwise unable to attend to <br />his duties as provided for by the Charter, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the interest of good government and the citizens of University <br />City to have designated a mayor pro tempore in advance, and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORt~;, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of <br />University City hereby designates <br /> <br />WAYNE MUNKEL <br /> <br />a Councilmember, as mayor pro tempore, to serve in such capacity until April, 2004. <br /> <br /> 'Cit;~le;k- '(, ' ' _ - <br /> <br /> <br />
