Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, <br />Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill number 8590 passed and became <br />Ordinance 6362. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to add a bill to the City Clerk's docket. Mr. Munkel seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1. A bill was introduced by Mr. Wagner, entitled: <br /> <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE <br />BUILDING CODE, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION 1010.3 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />BUILDINGS WITH ONE EXIT, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEROF TWO NEW <br />SUBSECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS "1010.3 BUILDINGS WITH ONE EXIT" AND <br />"1010.3.1 BUILDINGS WITH TWO EXITS;" THEREBY AMENDING THE BUILDING <br />CODE SO AS TO REQUIRE CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN USE GROUPS R-2 AND R-3 <br />TO HAVE TWO EXITS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was assigned #8591 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel, wished to caution the Council not to move to quickly on this <br />bill.
