<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 9, 2006 <br /> <br />At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers <br />of the City Hall, on Monday, October 9, 2006. Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />September 18, 2006, Regular Council Session minutes were moved for adoption as <br />amended by Mr. Price, seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br />September 18, 2006, Study Session minutes were moved for adoption as amended by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Ms. Brot and unanimously approved with the correction <br />accepted; adding Ms Ricci to councilmembers in attendance. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br />? <br /> Mr. Sharpe, Jr. nominated Evelyn Hollowell to the Arts & Letters Commission, <br />seconded by Ms. Brot and unanimously approved. <br />? <br /> Ms. Ricci nominated Mary Pat Gallagher to the Second Century Commission, <br />seconded by Mr. Wagner. and approved unanimously. <br />? <br /> Mr. Glickert nominated Charles Molloy to the Second Century Commission, seconded <br />by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br />? <br /> Ms. Ricci nominated Rosalyn Borg to the Second Century Commission, seconded by <br />Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. <br />? <br /> Mayor Adams nominated Sam Lawrence to the Second Century Commission, <br />seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. <br />? <br /> Mayor Adams nominated John Wright to the Second Century Commission as co- <br />chair. seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that the first working session of the Second Century Commission will <br />be October 16, 2006. <br /> <br />SWEARING IN <br />The City Clerk, Joyce Pumm, swore in Gloria Nickerson to the Board of Appeal <br />Mae Etta Weston to the CALOP Commission and <br />Ed Nickels to the Historic Preservation Commission <br />Previously, Sarah McCormick had been sworn in to the Arts & Letters Commission in the <br />City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br /> <br />
