March 19, 2007 <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO "GC" - GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br />CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to defeat this bill, seconded by Mr. Glickert and its defeat <br />was unanimous. <br /> <br />BILL 8931 <br /> - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO ZONING, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 34-88 THEREOF RELATING TO RESERVED, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 34-88 OLIVE BOULEVARD HISTORIC DISTRICT," BY AMENDING <br />SAID SECTION SO AS TO ADD OLIVE BOULEVARD AS A HISTORIC <br />DISTRICT; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />Bill 8931 had its second and third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval and was seconded by Mr. Price. <br />Roll Call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Glickert, Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS <br />Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br />Ms. Glickert requested the minutes of February 26, 2007, reflect the petition she <br />presented at the February 26, 2007, Council meeting. This petition was gathered by the <br />Prop K Commission, with 105 names, stating the Parks Director’s office should be in the <br />Centennial Commons and not at City Hall. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Mr. Price asked Mayor Adams about progress of his meetings with Ameren U.E. He also <br />asked Mayor Adams the status of the sales tax-pool bill. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci, the liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission, reported on the sale of <br />#15 Princeton and the plan to rehab it. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br />5 <br /> <br />
