The grant was awarded July 2007. <br /> <br />The City Manager must execute the grant agreement before federal funds can be <br />obligated to the City. The estimated total project cost is $1,547,288. The City will <br />contribute $324,930 and MoDOT will fund up $1,222,358 of the eligible costs of this <br />STP-Urban Project. The Public Works Department budgeted for this project for FY <br />2007/2008. Economic Development Tax funds will be used to fund the city’s share <br />of the project costs. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />The Public Works Department recommends that the City Manager, on behalf of the <br />City of University City, be authorized to execute an agreement with the Missouri <br />Highway Traffic Commission which provides that the City shall receive grant funds <br />for the Olive Blvd. Streetscape Improvements. <br /> <br />J-2-a <br />September 24, 2007 <br /> <br />
