of Missouri, 2000; that the redevelopment of such area is necessary and in the public interest under Chapter 353 of the revised statutes of Missouri, 2000, and is further in the interest of the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the people of the City of University City; said blighted area (hereinafter “Blighted Area”) being more particularly described as follows: a tract of land located in the City of University City, Missouri, being a portion of Cates Avenue and specifically described upon Exhibit A, as attached hereto; and containing a severability clause. BILL 8948 — An ordinance approving the development plan submitted for the redevelopment of that certain tract of land in the Cates Avenue redevelopment area, which area has been found to be blighted by the City of University City, which area should be redeveloped as necessary and in the public interest, said tract being described in Exhibit A; authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City of University City with the developer; setting forth the terms and conditions of said agreement; incorporating by reference Chapter 353, Revised Statutes of Missouri 2000 and containing a severability clause . BILL 8949 — An ordinance approving the petition of the Clemens Group, LLC as owner of certain real property, to establish a community improvement district, establishing the Cates Avenue Community Improvement District, finding a public purpose for the establishment of the Cates Avenue Community Improvement District, and containing a severability clause. Bill 8949 was move for adoption by Mr. Price and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. Roll Call Vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner and Mayor Adams. BILL 8951 — An ordinance ordering the levy and fixing the rate of property taxes to be collected in the City of University City for the year 2007 to provide for general September 24, 2007
