<br />of Missouri, 2000; that the redevelopment of such area is necessary and in the public <br />interest under Chapter 353 of the revised statutes of Missouri, 2000, and is further in <br />the interest of the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the people of the <br />City of University City; said blighted area (hereinafter “Blighted Area”) being more <br />particularly described as follows: a tract of land located in the City of University City, <br />Missouri, being a portion of Cates Avenue and specifically described upon Exhibit A, <br />as attached hereto; and containing a severability clause. <br /> <br />Bill 8947 was move for adoption by Mr. Wagner and was seconded by Mr. Price. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 8947 became Ordinance 6903. <br /> <br />2. BILL 8948 <br /> — An ordinance approving the development plan submitted for the <br />redevelopment of that certain tract of land in the Cates Avenue redevelopment area, <br />which area has been found to be blighted by the City of University City, which area <br />should be redeveloped as necessary and in the public interest, said tract being <br />described in Exhibit A; authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement on behalf of <br />the City of University City with the developer; setting forth the terms and conditions of <br />said agreement; incorporating by reference Chapter 353, Revised Statutes of Missouri <br />2000 and containing a severability clause <br />. <br /> <br />Bill 8948 was move for adoption by Mr. Wagner and was seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 8948 became Ordinance 6904. <br /> <br />3.
