Mr. Sharpe, Jr. asked the City Manager to supply the Council and University <br />City residents with the County’s spraying schedule. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner was concerned over the chemical makeup of the spray, the harm it <br />might cause and its effectiveness. <br /> <br />Resolution 070703A was rescinded on the majority of the voice vote, with Mr. <br />D-1-e <br />Wagner being the one Nay vote. <br /> <br /> <br />L. CITIZENS’ COMMENTS <br />Frank Reed, 1433 Midland Blvd. <br />Mr. Reed was concerned over the “No Parking Notice” posted by St. Louis <br />County on Midland between Canton Ave and Olive Blvd. He said that there <br />would be no parking available in front of his house for anyone visiting and it is <br />now hard to get in and out of his driveway. <br /> <br />Council will send letter to local representative and to County Executive, Mr. <br />Doolley asking for adjustments be made to the no parking mandate, as some <br />homes do not even have driveways available for parking. <br /> <br />Richard Dockett, 6844 Crest Ave. <br />Mr. Dockett thanked the U City Community Development Dept., the Council and <br />everyone who assisted in making the Roth Grove Neighborhood Association <br />Flea Market a success. He also commented on the success of the Sutter-Meyer <br />farmhouse open house. <br /> <br />John Buchanan, 6363 Olive Blvd. <br />Mr. Buchanan asked about the derelict commercial properties on east Olive and <br />the City’s plan for these. He will give the specific address to the City. <br /> <br />John Cross, 6847 Raymond <br />Mr. Cross was concerned about discontinuing the no sticker yard wate time <br />period, as the limited amount of street sweeping his street receives requires <br />them to bag their leaves. <br /> <br />Debra Jones, 6720 Bartmer Ave. <br />She commented on the presentation given by Public Works was incorrect in the <br />prices quoted; the trash bill she just received was higher than what was just <br />presented. She commented on the River DesPeres smell in the northeast <br />corridor. Ms. Jones was in favor of the leaf pick-up by street sweepers. <br /> <br /> <br />M. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Ms. Brot invited everyone to the opening of the trolley in Loop in Motion, <br />October 6, stating that there will be acts presented on the history of the trolley. <br />She thanked City Clerk for preparing the packet with ease in referencing pages. <br />October 1, 2007 <br /> <br />
