Session 1850 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />August 26, 2002 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, August 26, 2002, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the August 12, 2002 regular meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch said that on page 10, she voted against the approval of the Loop Special <br />Business District budget. She wanted that to be reflected correctly in the minutes. Mr. <br />Wagner wished to make sure that his Nay vote was recorded on the proper bill. Ms. <br />Forsythe noted that it was. <br /> <br />The motion to approve carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT / REAPPOINTMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointment of Butch Sterbenz, 6904 Kingsbury, to the <br />LCRA for a term ending July 7, 2006. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Walter Daniels, 7523 Drexel, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for an unexpired term ending September 9, 2003. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Susan Bowser, 8050 Teasdale, to the Historic <br />Preservation Commission for a term ending September 9, 2004. Mr. Sharpe seconded <br />the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />GUESTS: <br /> <br /> <br />
