Session 1850 <br />August 26, 2002 <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams asked the Councilmembers to submit names to help form a committee, if <br />this bill is passed. This committee will be charged with looking over everything that has <br />been previously presented and putting it into shape and then selling it to the citizens. <br />Secondly, they will continue to monitor it after it has passed and on the final designs on <br />the facilities. The committee will make sure that what was promised to be constructed <br />was constructed. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, and Mayor <br />Adams NAYS: Ms. Welsch and Mr. Lieberman. Bill number 8614 passed 5 to 2 and <br />became Ordinance 6385. <br /> <br />3. BILL NO. 8615 - RENEWING A NON-EXCLUSIVE CABLE TELEVISION <br />FRANCHISE WITH CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS ENTERTAINMENT I, LLC <br />PURSUANT TO THE CABLE COMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY CODE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption.
