Session 1855 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />October 7, 2002 <br /> <br />At a special meeting of the City Council of University City held in the 2nd Floor <br />Conference Room of City Hall on Monday, October 7, 2002, Mayor Joseph L. Adams <br />called the meeting to order at 9:12 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members <br />of the Council were present: <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff wished to update the Council on the City's efforts in reapplying for <br />another Parks Grant, He explained that the Park Grant Commission rules were that <br />grant money could not be rewarded if it were to be used to replace city money nor could <br />it be used as match money for another grant, He explained that he would be dividing <br />the Recreation Facility and Pool rehabilitation into Phase I and Phase I1. Phase I would <br />be targeted for Park grant funding and Phase II would be targeted for the sales tax <br />money that, hopefully, is passed on November 5. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff also wished to confirm the Council's intent on the recent 2 door exit rule <br />on new housing. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:53 p.m. <br /> <br />LC-=~sha Forsythe, City C~rk <br /> <br /> <br />
