INTRODUCED BY: Councilmember Jennings DATE: August 8, 2016 <br /> BILL NO. 9289 ORDINANCE NO. 7015 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 355.130 – <br /> CLOSING TIME ON MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS - <br /> EXCEPTIONS, CHAPTER 355 TRAFFIC CODE, OF THE <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REVISE <br /> TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Section 355.130, Closing Time on Municipal Parking Lots – Exceptions of <br /> Chapter 355 of the Traffic Code, of the University City Municipal Code is amended as <br /> provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as stricken <br /> through; language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance <br /> contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or <br /> provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and <br /> remains in full force and effect. <br /> Section 2. Chapter 355 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> change the closing time of municipal parking lot No.1, from 2:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every <br /> day of the week, to be closed from 3:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week, to the <br /> Traffic Code – Section 355.130, as follows: <br /> Section 355.130 Closing Time On Municipal Parking Lots — Exceptions. <br /> [R.O. 2011 §10.40.140; Prior Code §21-150.1; Ord. No. 6064 §1, 1996; Ord. No. 6119 <br /> §3, 1997] <br /> A. Municipal parking lot No. 1 on Delmar Boulevard shall be closed for public use from <br /> 2:30 3:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week. <br /> E. Municipal parking garage on Delmar Boulevard shall be closed for public use from <br /> 2:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week. <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br /> corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of the sections revised <br /> by this amendment nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
