INTRODUCED BY: Councilmember Jennings DATE: August 8, 2016 BILL NO. 9289 ORDINANCE NO. 7015 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 355.130 – CLOSING TIME ON MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS - EXCEPTIONS, CHAPTER 355 TRAFFIC CODE, OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REVISE TRAFFIC REGULATION AS PROVIDED HEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 355.130, Closing Time on Municipal Parking Lots – Exceptions of Chapter 355 of the Traffic Code, of the University City Municipal Code is amended as provided herein. Language to be deleted from the Code is represented as stricken through; language to be added to the Code is emphasized. This Ordinance contemplates no revisions to the Code other than those so designated; any language or provisions from the Code omitted from this Ordinance is represented by an ellipsis and remains in full force and effect. Section 2. Chapter 355 of the University City Municipal Code is hereby amended to change the closing time of municipal parking lot No.1, from 2:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week, to be closed from 3:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week, to the Traffic Code – Section 355.130, as follows: Section 355.130 Closing Time On Municipal Parking Lots — Exceptions. [R.O. 2011 §10.40.140; Prior Code §21-150.1; Ord. No. 6064 §1, 1996; Ord. No. 6119 §3, 1997] A. Municipal parking lot No. 1 on Delmar Boulevard shall be closed for public use from 2:30 3:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week. E. Municipal parking garage on Delmar Boulevard shall be closed for public use from 2:30 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day of the week. Section 3. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of the sections revised by this amendment nor bar the prosecution for any such violation.
