RESOLUTION 2016 - 6 <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of University City has the authority, pursuant <br /> to Section 600.130 of the City's Municipal Code, to suspend and revoke a liquor <br /> license upon its own motion, for such time as the Council may deem necessary <br /> and proper; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Market Pub House, the business previously located at 6655 <br /> Delmar Blvd., University City, Missouri 63130 is no longer in operation; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, Ramo, Inc. d/b/a Market Pub House discontinued use of the premises <br /> as a restaurant and completely shut down the business operations in January, <br /> 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and Council have been made aware that a new business is <br /> attempting to open and operate at 6655 Delmar Blvd.; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ramo Inc.d/b/a Market Pub House no longer needs a liquor license • <br /> since the business has discontinued operations and closed completely. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council makes a motion that the <br /> liquor license issued to Ramo Inc. d/b/a Market Pub House by the City be revoked <br /> indefinitely; and: <br /> FURTHERMORE, Council will provide Ramo, Inc. d/b/a Market Pub House three • <br /> (3) days written notice of Council's decision to revoke its liquor license and will <br /> conduct a public hearing on the decision as required by Code Section 600.130. <br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of University City, Missouri this <br /> 7th day of March, 2016. <br /> Shelley Welsch, Mayor <br /> G, <br /> w,a <br /> ATTEST: • <br /> •`c, <br /> : , r'// <br /> J e Pumm, City Clerk ` i i <br /> • <br /> •, �, r <br />
