Resolution 2015 — 24 <br /> CERTIFICATION OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION, APRIL 8, 2014 <br /> WHEREAS, a Municipal Election was held in the City of University City, Missouri, on <br /> Tuesday, November 8, 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the following were candidates for the respective office as shown: <br /> Steve McMahon Councilmember First Ward <br /> Luke Babich Councilmember First Ward <br /> NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the laws of the State of Missouri, the City Charter, and <br /> the Ordinances of the City of University City, and the rules and regulations promulgated <br /> by the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis County from the forty-one precincts <br /> in the City of University City, and upon certification by the City Clerk of the results of <br /> said election held Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in the City of University City, and as <br /> canvassed by the Council of said returns of said election, and it appearing that the votes <br /> received are as follows: <br /> Number of Votes <br /> Steve McMahon Councilmember First Ward 3,406 <br /> Luke Babich Councilmember First Ward 2,946 <br /> BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the following candidates, appearing to have received <br /> the largest number of votes, be declared elected for the term set forth by the Charter of <br /> University City. <br /> Steve McMahon, Councilmember, First Ward <br /> PASSED AND RESOLVED this 28th day of November, 2016. <br /> Shelley Welsch, Mayor 11;) <br /> F. <br /> m <br /> 0s <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Joy Pumm, City Clerk <br />
