RESOLUTION 2016 - 30 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR PUBLIC BUS STOP <br /> WHEREAS, the City of University City desires to permit the installation of a bus stop at <br /> Heman Park Community Center and accordingly the Bi-State Development Agency of the <br /> Missouri-Illinois Metropolitan District d/b/a will construct, install and maintain the bus stop. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, Metro would, at its sole cost and expense, install, maintain, repair, replace, <br /> remove a bus stop at Heman Park Community Center, 975 Pennsylvania Ave., University City, <br /> MO 63130; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City recognizes the public benefit of a public bus stop in this area and <br /> agrees to allow a license to Metro for the installation and maintenance of a bus stop landing pad <br /> and bench; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of University City and Metro will enter to the License Agreement <br /> for the bus stop, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: <br /> The City of University City hereby agrees to enter into the License Agreement with Metro and is <br /> committed to providing access to public transportation for citizens of the City. <br /> PASSED AND RESOLVED THIS 12th DAY OF DECEMBER, 2016. <br /> dal <br /> 1 • 0 ' ` Attest: <br /> .moi <br /> Shelley Welsdh, Mayor Jiee Pu m, City Clerk <br />
