Session 1861 <br />November 18, 2002 <br /> <br />AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SECTIONS TO BE <br />KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-30.5 (2) AND 34-30.5 (3)," BY <br />AMENDING SAID SECTIONS SO AS TO OUTLINE SETBACK <br />AND HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS THAT APPLY TO SINGLE- <br />FAMILY DWELLINGS; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned number 8634. <br /> <br />2. A bill was introduced by Councilmember Lieberman entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15.04 OF THE UNIVERSITY <br />CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE BUILDING CODE, BY <br />ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SUBSECTION OF SECTION 15.04.030 TO <br />BE KNOWN AS "3304.7 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCES;" <br />CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned number 8635. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams suggested a location in Clayton where the Council could see an <br />application of the proposed bill. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman wanted to know if a bill to provide a senior discount rate for refuse <br />rates was being prepared. Mr. Ollendorff replied that it was. <br /> <br />After the Mayor announced that the next regular session would be December 2, <br />2002 at 7:30, a question arose as to whether or not a quorum of <br />Councilmembers would be present. He then advised that the next session might <br />be cancelled. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that a decision about an additional leaf pick up in the eastern <br />section would be made the next day and that the information would be in their <br />packet. He also said that November and December bags of leaves would be <br />picked up for free. <br /> <br />The Mayor inquired about the use of contract workers. Mr. Ollendorff answered <br />that there hadn't been many. <br /> <br /> <br />
