ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC <br />STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />“SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL <br />TIMES,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT <br />PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON EAST PARK INDUSTRIAL DRIVE FOR A <br />DISTANCE OF 30 FEET ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ENTRANCE OF 1011 EAST <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK DRIVE AND ON BARTMER INDUSTRIAL AVE FOR A <br />DISTANCE OF 30 FEET ON BOTH SIDES OF THE DRIVEWAY PROPERTY <br />OF 1011 EAST INDUSTRIAL PARK DRIVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br />AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to <br />parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section <br />10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, <br />and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 <br />Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section <br />so as to prohibit parking at all times on East Park Industrial Drive for a distance <br />of 30 feet on both sides of the entrance of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive and on <br />Bartmer Industrial Ave. for a distance of 30 feet on both sides of the driveway <br />property of 1011 East Industrial Park Drive; so that said section, as so amended, <br />shall read as follows: <br />Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the <br />parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: <br />Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: <br /> For <br />noncommercial vehicles, from the west sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point <br />fifteen (15) feet west thereof, and from the east sidewalk line at Jackson Avenue <br />to a point fifteen (15) feet east thereof. <br />Alley North of Loop North: <br /> Both sides thereof from the first alley east of <br />Kingsland Avenue to Leland Avenue. <br />Appleton Drive: <br /> North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly <br />for a distance of sixty (60) feet. <br /> <br />
