ORDINANCE NO <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, <br />BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.090 THEREOF, RELATING TO STOP <br />INTERSECTIONS – VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS, <br />AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />“SECTION 10.36.090 STOP INTERSECTIONS – VEHICLES TO STOP AT <br />CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS <br />FOR TRAFFIC TO STOP ON WARDER AVE. AT LAFON PLACE; CONTAINING <br />A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to Stop <br />intersections -Vehicles to stop at certain intersections, is hereby amended by <br />repealing Section 10.36.090 thereof, relating to Stop intersections -Vehicles to <br />stop at certain intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be <br />known as “Section 10.36.090 Stop intersections -Vehicles to stop at certain <br />intersections,” thereby amending said section so as for traffic to stop on Warder <br />Ave. at Lafon Pl; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.36.090 Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. <br />The following street intersections are hereby designated as stop intersections for <br />certain entrances thereto within the meaning of this title. Every operator of a <br />vehicle or other conveyance proceeding on streets listed in the lefthand column <br />below shall stop such vehicles or other conveyance before entering or crossing <br />the street opposite in the righthand column below: <br />Ahern Avenue Groby Road <br />Ahern Avenue Mt. Olive Avenue <br />Ahern Avenue (westbound only) Raisher Drive <br />Alley between Bartmer & Chamberlain 66th St. Walkway <br />Alley between Bartmer & Chamberlain Ferguson & Kingsland Walkway <br />Alley between Cates & Clemens Pedestrian Crosswalk <br />Alley south of Delmar (westbound only) Melville Avenue <br />Alley between Olive & Chamberlain Ferguson & Kingsland Walkway <br />Amherst Avenue Jackson Avenue <br />Amherst Avenue Gay Avenue <br />Appleton Drive 82nd Boulevard <br /> <br />
