One bill contains an <br />assignment to the St. Louis County Municipal League and the other bill does not. <br />The maximum assignment permitted under the settlement is $39,200, which is <br />5% of the $784,009 in back taxes to be paid by AT&T Mobility. <br />The AT&T Mobility settlement approval deadline is February 25, 2008. The <br />completed claim form, with the required documents, including a settlement <br />approval ordinance, must be returned to AT&T Mobility with a postmark date no <br />later than February 25, 2008. To meet this deadline, Council’s selected bill needs <br />to be introduced this evening. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is in full agreement with the settlement. The <br />Municipal League contribution is fully at Council’s discretion. The first (a) <br />ordinance reflects the contribution, the second marked as (b) does not. <br /> <br />
