<br />Plan Commission <br />January 25, 2017Meeting Minutes <br />(Approved 4-26-2017) <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting at the Heman Park Community Center located <br />at 975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. The <br />meeting commenced at 6:30pm. <br />1. She expressed her thanks to former members including Ms. Linda Locke, who <br />resigned, and Mr. Rick Salamon and Mr. Samuel Jones, whose first terms had expired and <br />requested not to bereappointed. <br />2.Approval of Minutes <br />2.a.September 28, 2016Plan Commission meeting <br />Ms. Williams had two proposed revisionsregarding the draft minutes. On Page 2 of 4, <br />under “Questions, Comments, and Discussion by Plan Commission”, the fourth bullet- <br />point, the minutes should have reflected that a Plan Commission member was concerned <br />that the parking requirements for a banquet hall were being misapplied, rather than <br />simply stating that the parking requirements for a restaurant would be more similar to the <br />proposed use. Also, on Page 3 of 4, under “Questions, Comments, and Discussion by the <br />Plan Commission”,before the first bullet-point, a statement should be added to state that <br />a Plan Commission member was concerned that the definition of a banquet hall inthe <br />ordinance was being misapplied. A motion was made by Ms. Williams to approve the <br />September 28, 2016 meeting minutes with the proposed revisions.
