The meeting will be held in the <br />Council Chambers. I included the bid specs and responses for your consideration. <br /> <br />Loop Trolley Company <br />The issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a consultant to <br />conduct an 18-month study for the design and development of a conceptual engineering <br />and an environmental plan for the Vintage Loop Trolley Project in University City. As <br />outlined in the RFP, the consultant is required to: <br /> <br />? <br /> Develop a plan that builds on the foundation laid by previous work and outcomes <br />from the 2000 Delmar Trolley Feasibility Study. <br /> <br />? <br /> Build on and integrate, the extensive communications and community <br />engagement process that has been strategically introduced to the public. <br /> <br />? <br /> Provide recommendations on whether this project should be positioned for <br />funding under the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Small Starts Initiative <br />and provide assistance in applying for such assistance, if this funding source is <br />recommended. <br /> <br />? <br /> Develop a minimum of 10 percent conceptual engineering and design plans to <br />maximize the return on investment for this effort. <br /> <br />Five firms responded to the RFP. Attached is a table, which summarizes the <br />qualifications and fees of the five consulting firms that responded to the RFP. <br /> <br /> <br />
