<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />January 15, 2008 <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, January 15, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Julie Feier. <br /> <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. December 03, 2007, study session minutes, as amended, were moved for approval <br /> by Mr. Glickert, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and were approved unanimously. <br />2. December 03, 2007, regular session minutes as amended, were moved for approval <br /> by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Ms. Brot, and were passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Regina Raineri to the Arts and Letters Commission by Mr. Price, seconded by Mr. <br /> Wagner and was approved unanimously. <br />2. Hyla Bondareff to the Traffic Commission by Mr. Wagner, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, <br /> Jr. and was approved unanimously. <br />3. Dan Martin to the Arts and Letters Commission by Mayor Adams, seconded by Mr. <br /> Wagner and was approved unanimously. <br />4. Bob Wagoner to the Traffic Commission by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Wagner and <br /> was approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Ben Senturia was sworn in to the Plan Commission at the City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br />Peggy Holly was sworn in to the Board of Adjustment and Lisa Greening was sworn in to <br />the Plan Commission at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Canton Bridge replacement was awarded to the low bidder of six, R. V. Wagner for <br /> $436,500.60. The City budgeted $510,000: $102,000 would be City match and <br /> $408,000 would be from a Federal Grant. <br />2. Delmar Blvd. Streetscape project was awarded to the low bidder of five, Custom <br />Lighting Services, LLC. The City budgeted $113,636.36: $25,000 would be City <br />match from Economic Development Sales Tax and $88,636 would be from a Federal <br />Grant. <br /> <br />
