<br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />January 28, 2008 <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, January 28, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Julie Feier. <br /> <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. January 15, 2008, study session minutes, as amended, were moved for approval <br /> by Mr. Glickert, seconded by Ms. Brot. and were approved unanimously. <br />2. January 15, 2008, regular session minutes as amended, were moved for approval <br /> by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Ms. Brot, and were passed unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Bob Wagoner was sworn in to the Traffic Commission <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mr. Glickert asked that the four items on the Consent Agenda be pulled and voted on <br />individually. <br />1. Cooperation Agreement for the construction and maintenance of the Centennial <br />Greenway. <br />Ms. Ricci moved to modify paragraph one. She would like to make it clear that the <br />Greenway is paying the cost of the construction and upon completion; the City of <br />University City will take on the cost of maintaining. The NOW THEREFORE,should <br />read: <br />1. GRG Obligations: As to cost, GRG agrees to engineer and construct a trail <br />along Olive Boulevard from McKnight to the city limits of University City near <br />Interstate 170. <br />2. City Obligations: Upon completion of the GRG, the City of University City <br />agrees to assume the full and total financial and administration responsibility <br />for ordinary operations and maintenance of the trails to allow safe and <br />convenient public access. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner seconded the amendments and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot moved for approval of the motion dealing with the Centennial Greenway with <br />amendments, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />
