Session 1881 <br />May 5, 2003 <br /> Bartmer. <br /> <br />Russell Frazier, 1091 Purcell, also complained about the property at 6901 <br />Bartmer, about youth groups who block the street and the rash of day-time <br />burglaries, break-ins, etc. He requested updated information of the status of <br />police action. He also asked for action and a status report about the patrons of <br />the Jack-in-the-Box which continue to make left turns onto Olive. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff introduced the new Public Relations officer, Monica McFee. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams advised that citizens needed to be concerned about House Bill <br />517 and Senate Bill 11. He would be providing information for the Council. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8653: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO <br />ZONING, BY AMENDING SECTION 34-154 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO DAMAGE OR SUBSTANDARD CONDITIONS BY <br />ADDING SPECIFIC PROVISIONS DEALING WITH ELEVATOR <br />APARTMENT DWELLINGS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br />AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch offered the motion to adopt the ordinance. Ms. Colquitt <br />seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES - Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Ms. Welsch, Mr. <br />Sharpe, Mayor Adams. NAYS - None.
