Session 1874 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 7, 2003 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, on Monday, April 7, 2003, Mayor Joseph Adams called <br />the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following <br />members of Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel, <br />Mr. Robert Wagner, <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman, <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch, <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />A moment of silence was observed for the former mayor, the late Nathan <br />Kaufman. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner moved to accept the Minutes of the March 15, 2003 <br />study session meeting. Mr. Sharpe seconded and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The motion to accept the Minutes of the March 17, 2003 regular meeting was <br />offered by Councilmember Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Wagner and carried. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner moved to accept the Minutes of the March 24, 2003 <br />special meeting. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams read two proclamations: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved adoption of the proclamation for the Days of <br />Remembrance, which remembers the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, <br />set for Sunday, April 27, 2003 through Sunday, May 4, 2003. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved adoption of the proclamation for Child Identification Week in <br />University City set for April 7-11, 2003, which is a community service initiative <br /> <br /> <br />
