Session 1902 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 1, 2003 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall, on Monday, December 1, 2003, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present were the City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff, and the Assistant City <br />Manager, Mr. Thomas Moton. <br /> <br />Excused: <br /> <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner made two corrections to the minutes. The first, on page four, second <br />paragraph, fifth line down, "Mr. Ollendorff responded (while should be deleted and the <br />word and should be inserted) he would be cautious about using the general fund." The <br />second correction is on page seven, second paragraph, fifth line from the bottom "... <br />part of Sutter is in University City so it should be possible to stop traffic proceeding (up <br />should be replaced by north from) Olive Boulevard. Then Mr. Wagner moved to approve <br />the minutes, with those two corrections, of the regular Council meeting held November <br />17, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT/REAPPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch appointed Alison Kay Markenson, 7135 Lindell Boulevard, to the Pension <br />Boards to serve a term of four years ending July 1, 2007. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />appointment and it carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe re-appointed Ray Reckamp, 7100 Kingsbury Boulevard, to the Board of <br />Adjustment to serve a five year term ending July 7, 2008.
