<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />March 24, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, March 24, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Julie Feier. <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. February 25, 2008, study session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br /> Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br />2. February 25, 2008, regular session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br /> Wagner, seconded by Ms. Brot and were approved unanimously. <br />3. March 6, 2008 Special Session on IT Assessment did not have a quorum <br /> therefore no minutes were presented. <br />4. March 12, 2008, Special Session on Sutter Meyer Home were moved for <br /> approval by Mr. Wagner, seconded by Ms. Brot and were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Eric Vanderhoef was appointed to the Land Clearance Redevelopment Authority <br /> (LCRA) by Mayor Adams, seconded by Mr. Wagner and was approved <br /> unanimously. <br />2. Dennis Hyland was appointed to the LCRA by Mayor Adams, seconded by Mr. <br /> Wagner and was approved unanimously. <br />3. James Reeves was appointed to the CALOP Commission by Ms. Ricci, <br /> seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Firehouse #2 floor repair <br />United Construction Ent. Co. was recommended as the low bidder of three, for <br />$140,000. <br />2. Mowing and trimming on designated City properties <br />B&H Home Services was the only bidder at $2,230 per mowing cycle for a total <br />of $50,000. <br />3. Upgrade of Police Security Camera System <br />St. Louis Electronics’ bid for enhancements to current system was $16,032.25 <br />and would come from cell tax revenue. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
