<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />May 5, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of <br />the City Hall, on Monday, May 5, 2008, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr <br /> <br />Also in attendance was Deputy City Manager/Finance Director Janet Watson in <br />place of Ms. Julie Feier who was out on maternity leave. <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. April 21, 2008, regular session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Glickert, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and were approved unanimously. <br />2. April 21, 2008, study session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Robert Wagner was nominated to the Green Practices Committee by Mr. <br />Wagner, seconded by Ms. Ricci and was approved unanimously. <br />2. Joy Lieberman was nominated to the Library Board by Mayor Adams, <br />seconded by Mr. Wagner and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Lynn Ricci, Councilmember, Ward Two and Arthur Sharpe, Jr., Councilmember <br />Ward Three were sworn in at the City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. <br />Site Plan for 6504 Olive – Perfect Love Revival Ministries <br />Mr. moved for approval, seconded by and was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Liquor License by the drink for Noodles and Company, 6310 Delmar <br />Mr. moved for approval, seconded b y and was approved unanimously <br /> <br />3. <br />Liquor License by the package for Quick Stop Food Shop, 7940 Olive <br />Mr. Price moved to deny approval of this liquor license and was seconded by <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. Mr. Wagner moved to amend the motion to deny without <br />prejudice, with application to be resubmitted for 5% malt liquor only. Mr. Price <br />moved to postpone, with conditions, the approval of this liquor license until <br /> <br />
