Motion to Reserve Funds for the Fire Pumper scheduled for purchase in 2010. <br />Ms. Watson proposed to reserve $350,000 of FY 08 Fund Balance to be applied <br />toward purchase of pumper in 2010 for $525,000. <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Glickert and was approved <br />unanimously. <br />5. CDBG Amendment to Current Year Fund (Allocation for Sidewalks) <br />The internal rating for sidewalks most in need of repair was for 6800 Melrose, <br />6900 Purcell, 6500 Plymouth, 1100 Ursula, 1100 Wilshire and 1050 Ferguson. <br />These sidewalks were repaired in place of sidewalks at 8200 Appleton, 8300 <br />Archer, 1300 Coolidge, 1400 Tamerton, 8300 Richard, 8500 Richard, 8300 <br />Orchard and 8300 Fullerton. <br />Mr. Sharpe, Jr. moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Crow and was approved <br />unanimously. <br />6. Allocation for 2009 CDBG Information material from Deputy Director Ms. <br />Watson <br />Ms. Watson explained that Mr. Price had asked that $5,000 from Code <br />Enforcement and from the Police be moved to Rehabilitation of Private Property. <br />Ms. Watson supplied information on the recent activity for the City and the <br />County Home Improvement Loan Program. In FY 2007 total expenditures were <br />$20,362 for the City and $94,170 for the County. The City had four applicants <br />and the County had twenty applicants. There are 47 applicants on the City's <br />waiting list and three applicants on the County's waiting list. <br /> <br />Ms. Watson then addressed the question on the scholarship history in the Parks <br />and Recreation. She provided a sheet with the day camp scholarships given in <br />2005 through 2007 and the discounted rates given on Centennial Commons <br />memberships. Ms. Watson also said there was a directory of programs available <br />in University City which were handed out to all residents. <br /> <br />Ms. Watson provided and map of the CDBG Code Enforcement areas at the <br />request of Mr. Price. Attached to the area map was a detailed list of addresses <br />involved in the CDBG Code Enforcement Inspections. <br /> <br />J. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />K.
