ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.48 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING METERS, BY REPEALING SECTION <br />10.48.30 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING METER ZONES- DESIGNATED, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION <br />10.48.30 PARKING METER ZONES- DESIGNATED,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID <br />SECTION SO AS TO ZONE B TO INCLUDE SPECIFIC PORTIONS OF FORSYTH <br />BOULEVARD AND THE PARKING LOT LOCATED AT THE NORTH-WEST CORNER <br />OF LINDELL BLVD. AND FORSYTH BLVD; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.48 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking meters, is <br />hereby amended by repealing Section 10.48.30 thereof, relating to establishing designated <br />parking meter zones, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section <br />10.48.30 Parking meter zones - designated,” thereby amending said section so as to Zone B to <br />include specific portions of Forsyth Boulevard and the parking lot located at the north-west <br />corner of Lindell Blvd. and Forsyth Blvd.; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as <br />follows: <br />10.48.030Parking meter zones—Designated. <br />There is established in the city of University City designated parking meter zones which shall <br />include the following streets or parts of streets: <br />Zone A <br />Gannon Avenue: <br /> The south side from the alley east of North and South Boulevard to North and <br />South Boulevard. <br />Zone B <br />Delmar Boulevard: <br /> Both sides from Harvard Avenue to the east city limits. <br />Forsyth Boulevard <br />: north side thereof from a point 75 feet of the west line of Lindell Boulevard <br />to a point 98 feet to the west. And, north side thereof from a point 22 feet of the east line of <br />Lindell Boulevard to a point 36 feet to the east. <br />Parking Lot Forsyth and Lindell: <br /> located at the north-west corner of the intersection of Lindell <br />Blvd and Forsyth Blvd. <br />Zone C <br />Gannon Avenue: <br /> The south side from the alley west of North and South Boulevard to North <br />and South Boulevard. <br />Heman Avenue: <br /> East side thereof from Delmar Boulevard to Enright Avenue. <br />Kingsland Avenue: <br /> Both Sides from Loop South to Washington Avenue. <br />Leland Avenue: <br /> East side thereof from Delmar Boulevard to Loop South. <br />Limit Avenue: <br /> Both sides from Delmar Boulevard south to the alley. <br />Melville Avenue: <br /> Both sides from Delmar Boulevard to the alley south thereof. <br /> <br />
