RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, establishment of a centennial hiking/bike trail system for the Metropolitan area <br />is a high priority for University City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, every park and destination in University City should be a part of the <br />interconnected trail way; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a plan for University City's portion of the hiking/bike trail system has been <br />developed and reviewed by the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the University City Council is highly desirous of implementing the plan; it is <br />therefore <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that the University City hike/bike trail system plan dated January 2004 is <br />hereby adopted as the official plan for the University City portion of this centennial trail system, and <br />it is further, <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that the City Manager or designated representative of the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized to apply for grants or other funding to County, Regional, State, Federal, <br />Foundation, and other appropriate sources. ~ <br /> Adopted this r-~· day of ~ 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
