At present, we are looking for individuals willing to organize our <br />archives, assist with marketing or community outreach, and serve as Volunteer <br />Educators during our summer youth programming. Restoration activities, <br />including invasive species removal, native plant propagation, weeding, and <br />watering occur throughout the year. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are <br />always appreciated at The Green Center! Contact CORP at 862-2306 (mileage reimbursed). <br /> <br />, <br />Lutheran Senior Services Volunteer Money Management Program <br /> <br />which is an interfaith partnership with Jewish Family & Children’s Services, is <br />looking for volunteers 21 years and older to provide individualized, in-home <br />money management assistance for older adults 60 years and older or adults 50 <br />years and older with a disability living in University City and the surrounding <br />area. Volunteers help sort, organize, and record monthly bills and statements, <br />reconcile monthly bank statements, and balance checkbooks. Two hours a <br />month is needed to help an older adult remain independent in your community. <br />This is a United Way funded program. If you are interested in volunteering, <br />please call Cassandra at (314) 446-2523. <br /> <br /> <br />
