The Agreement <br />would provide stoplight changing equipment in University City and other areas of <br />the County and emitters for University City emergency vehicles to provide better <br />emergency response time due to the I-64/40 shutdown. MoDOT requires an <br />ordinance to approve the pre-emption and to approve who the City has delegated <br />to sign the Agreement in behalf of the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Council did approve this under the City Manager’s <br />Report on June 23, 2008 and would recommend approval as an ordinance. <br />Page 1 of 8 <br /> <br />
