<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Price felt the five-ten year plan was not built on historical data and the economy would <br />not stay in its present recession for that long of a period. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow stated that he was in favor of strategic cuts versus across the board cuts. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams stated that the economic development sales tax would be too restrictive and <br />would not benefit the City’s over all needs. He said the citizens will have a chance to <br />weigh in when they go to vote. <br /> <br />It was decided by all that a major educational campaign was necessary for any tax <br />increase to be proposed. Ms. Ricci suggested that the City manager could help educate <br />residents in her Weekly Report. <br /> <br />The Council will decide on a direction of which tax to propose and the process to follow at <br />the next study session. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />
