(CHAPTER 1 ADMINISTRATION) <br />(SECTION 101 GENERAL) <br />101.1 Title. <br /> This code shall be known as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of University <br />City, Missouri. It is referred to herein as “this code”. <br />101.2 Scope. <br /> This code applies to all residential and commercial buildings. <br />Exception: <br /> Detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings <br />(townhouses) not more than three stories above grade plane in height with a separate means of <br />egress and their accessory structures shall comply with the Residential Code of University City. <br />101.90 Enforcement agency. <br /> The term “building official” shall be construed to mean the <br />building commissioner of the City of University City, Missouri or the duly authorized <br />representative of the building commissioner. <br />(SECTION 105 INSPECTIONS) <br />105.90 Third-party inspections. <br />All third-party inspections shall be in accordance with Section <br />109.4.90 of the Building Code of University City. <br />(SECTION 190 MEANS OF APPEAL) <br />190.1 General. <br />University City Building Code Section 112 shall be applicable for all appeals <br />involving this code. <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 15.02, nor bar the <br />prosecution for any such violation. <br />Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, <br />Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage <br />as provided by law. <br />2 <br /> <br />
