ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 15 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION, BY REPEALING CHAPTER 15.03 THEREOF, RELATING TO THE FUEL GAS CODE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW CHAPTER TO BE KNOWN AS “CHAPTER 15.03 FUEL GAS CODE”; THEREBY AMENDING CHAPTER 15.03 SO AS TO ADOPT THE INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE, 2006 EDITION, WITH CERTAIN CHANGES THERETO; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Title 15 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to buildings and construction, is hereby amended by repealing Chapter 15.03 thereof, relating to the Fuel Gas Code, and enacting in lieu thereof a new chapter to be known as “Chapter 15.03 Fuel Gas Code”, which shall read as follows: Chapter 15.03 Fuel Gas Code Section 15.03.010 Adoption. The International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., three copies of which were on file in the office of the city clerk for a period of ninety days prior to the adoption of this Ordinance and available for public use, inspection and examination, and a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth herein, is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the City of University City, Missouri, subject to the amendments, additions, insertions, deletions and changes set out in Section 15.03.020 of this chapter. The following numbered sections and subsections of the International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., are hereby amended by additions, insertions, deletions and changes so that such sections and subsections shall read as follows:
