Emily Henson Paramedic Firefighter
Joseph Lucia - Paramedic Firefighter
Joseph McCune - Paramedic Firefighter
Aaron Moon Paramedic Firefighter
Irving Moorehead - Paramedic Firefighter
Scott Smith Police Officer
Alexis Still - Paramedic Firefighter
Harrison Tucker - Paramedic Firefighter
Maurice Williams - Paramedic Firefighter

Approval of Retirements
David Sams, Police Officer - $2,671.62

Chairman Reedy called for approval of the above noted monthly retirement benefit payment.
The retirement benefit payment was motioned by Member Jennings, seconded by Member
Isenberg and approved with unanimous consent.

Other Matters
Member McCarthy made a motion on behalf of the Police and Fire Fund to request funds in next
fiscal year to fully fund the $1.4 million for next calendar year. The motion was seconded by
Member Stutz and approved with unanimous consent

Member Jennings inquired about Prop P and stated that some of the money should be going to
the pension plan.

certainly recognizes there is a tax for the police and fire uniformed employees and he believes
he recommended $417,000 from Prop P funds to work towards strengthening the police and fire
pension. In addition to that, on the non-uniformed side, there are employee and city
bringing in (Mr. Cole stated $1.7 million total). Mr. Rose stated the $417,000 recommendation
probably exceeds the amount included in the actuarial study so that if the Council decides they
want to fund at a higher level he wanted to provide them that option. Additionally, all of the
general fund
Council has the option of strengthening the funds. To be clear, the Mayor and Council are
concerned about the employees, but we have to know the facts and give options.

Council Member McMahon suggested that when the board receives the annual actuarial report
that they submit the report along with a transmittal letter to Council stating the amounts that
should be paid. He further suggested that the Board include not the just the review of that item
on the agenda, but the motion to approve as well. Chairman Reedy stated he would coordinate
with Council Member McMahon to attend a Council Meeting to communicate/transmit the
message to City Council.

ЊЊ
