RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> The matter of improving Delcrest Court by removing and replacing the existing street <br />pavement was considered. <br /> <br /> After a general discussion, Councilmember offered the <br />following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri, deems it <br />necessary to improve Delcrest Court by removing and replacing the existing street pavement; and <br />by doing all other work necessary to complete the project in a satisfactory manner and in accordance <br />with the City's standard specifications for this type of work; that the "whole cost" of such <br />improvement is approximately $32,515.00, including all expenses incurred by the City for surveys, <br />plans, engineering services, etc.; that all of the final whole cost shall be paid for by a special tax or <br />assessment levied against a benefit district which shall include all real property owned by Delcrest <br />Condominium Ltd. and its members and located at Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Delcrest Court, University <br />City, Missouri, including the 40 condominium units there; that the percentage of the final whole cost <br />assessed against and levied upon each condominium unit shall be unit owner's corresponding <br />percentage of ownership in the common elements as a tract; and that special tax bills evidencing <br />such assessments shall be issued. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, <br />Missouri, finds and declares such improvement necessary and in the public interest; and that a public <br />hearing be held at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. on June 29, 1998, to consider the improvement of Delcrest <br />Court. <br />Motion seconded by Councilmember .~~ )x and carried. <br /> <br />Adopted this <br /> <br />day of June, 1998. <br /> <br />I hereby certify that the above is a true excerpt from the minutes of the meeting of the City Council <br />held on the ~ day of June, 1998. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
