Session 1921 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />May 17, 2004 <br /> <br />At a duly posted special meeting of the City Council of University City held in the <br />second floor conference room, on Monday, May 17, 2004, Mayor Joseph Adams <br />called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The following members of Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Francine Brungardt <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Ms. Stefany Brot <br />Ms. Shelley Welsch <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Excused: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> <br />Executive Session: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that the Council needed to go into Executive Session in order <br />to discuss the City Manager's evaluation and goal setting process according to <br />RSMo 610.021(3). The meeting will be held immediately upon Council approval <br />in the same room: 2nd floor conference room of City Hall, as posted. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved to go into Executive Session. Mr. Wagner seconded the <br />motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES - Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, <br />Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. The motion carried <br />unanimously. Mayor Adams noted that the special meeting would now be <br />postponed until after the executive session and the regular meeting this evening, <br />at which point the Council will resume the special meeting to finish budget <br />discussions. <br /> <br />The meeting was postponed at 6:40 p.m. <br />(following executive session and regular meeting at 8:20 p.m.) <br /> <br />City Manager Frank Ollendorff was present during this second half of the special <br />meeting which resumed after the regular session at 8:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Bud,qet Study: <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that at this meeting the City Council will finish reviewing the <br />budget. He said he sent a list of requests for open items or requests for <br />information on the budget in memoranda to Council members. It should be <br />possible to make tentative final decisions on these issues. <br /> <br />1.
