Session 1929 July 12, 2004 COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS Richard Dockett, 6844 Crest Avenue, came to invite the City Council and City employees and the public to a follow-up meeting about the progress report of the Police Department responding to citizens' concerns. The meeting will be Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Heman Park Center from 7-9 P.M. BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: BILL 8719 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISlON WHICH AUTHORIZES THE CITY TO REMOVE AND REPLACE PRUDUE AVENUE VEHICULAR BRIDGE WITH A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Ms. Colquitt moved adoption and Ms. Brungardt seconded. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, and Mayor Adams; NAYS: Mr. Sharpe. Bill number 8719 passed and became Ordinance 6487. 2. BILL 8720 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.64 OF THE CITY CODE RELATING TO THE NONUNIFORMED EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM BY REPEALING AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 2.64.070 SO AS TO PROVIDE A REVISED METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE CITY MANAGER'S CREDITABLE SERVICE.
