Session 1937 <br />October 11,2004 <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch asked again for clarification about why Saturdays were considered to be <br />different than other days of the week as relating to traffic issues, Mr. Ollendorff said he <br />had relayed that request to the City Staff and to the County Staff for their comments. <br /> <br />This bill was put on hold <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />1. Mr. Sharpe introduced Bill Number 8741 which was read for the first time: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF LAND <br />TO BE KNOWN AS "8042, 8100 AND 8104 DELMAR CONDOMINIUM" AND <br />LOCATED AT 8042, 8100 AND 8104 DELMAR. <br /> <br />2. Ms. Welsch introduced Bill Number 8742 which was read for the first time: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF CITY CODE, PARKING <br />RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 <br />RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES AND <br />ENACTING A NEW SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON <br />THE WEST SIDE OF KINGSLAND AVENUE FROM THE NORTH CURB LINE OF <br />WASHINGTON AVENUE NORTHWARDLY FOR A DISTANCE OF 42 FEET. <br /> <br />3. Ms. Welsch introduced Bill number 8743 which was read for the firs time: <br /> <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 2.52 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE <br />COMMITTEE FOR ACCESS AND LOCAL ORIGINATION PROGRAMMING, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 2.52.050 THEREOF, RELATING TO MEMBERSHIP AND <br />APPOINTMENT, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE <br />KNOWN AS "SECTION 2.52.050 MEMBERSHIP AND APPOINTMENT," SO AS TO <br />INCREASE THE NUMBER OF VOTING MEMBERS <br /> <br />Mayor Adams referred to an earlier meeting this evening at which Ms. Welsch <br />demanded that time be set aside prior to the next meeting of CALOP when details can <br />be decided. A date may be set now, with 24 hours notice. He asked Ms. Welsch if she <br />would allow the City Clerk to poll the Council to determine an acceptable date for this <br />meeting which fits the requirements of the Sunshine Law.
